Just a heads-up: the dew point in Paramount, CA this morning was around 64 °F—which is a bit on the muggy side. When the dew point climbs above 60 °F, workouts can feel noticeably tougher due to reduced evaporation and that sticky, humid sensation. So if you’re planning to hit the pavement this morning, know that it might feel a bit more strenuous than usual. A few tips to stay comfortable:
• Hydrate extra before and during your walk.
• Take it at your own pace—you might want to dial it back slightly or include short rest stops.
• Dress light and breathable to help your body keep cool.

Every year, our City Council celebrates our Commissioner’s services by hosting a BBQ, always including great company, delicious food and a fun-filled activity. This year, it was painting! YAY!
