What a glorious morning with our 261 Fearless Club Los Angeles! 🌞

Yesterday we met up at the Pasadena Senior Center and were treated to the most beautiful winter day—clear blue skies and a sunny 80 degrees. It felt like spring had arrived just for us!

We enjoyed another lovely walk along the historic Tournament of Roses Parade route, soaking in the scenery, the fresh air, and the wonderful company of our fearless community. There’s something truly special about starting the weekend together—moving, talking, laughing, and supporting one another.

In the middle of winter, days like this feel like a true gift, and we are so grateful to be able to get outside and enjoy them. Moments like these remind us how important connection and movement are for our health and happiness.

We’d love to have you join us next week!

Running Through 2025: A Year of Gratitude, Grit, and Forward Motion

As I look back on 2025, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for all that this year brought — the miles, the memories, the challenges, and the triumphs. Running continues to be one of my greatest teachers, reminding me daily of the power of persistence, community, and belief in what’s possible at every stage of life.

This year was filled with special highlights that I will carry with me for a long time. Competing in the 2025 Des Moines, Iowa Senior Olympics was a true honor, as was participating in other Senior Olympic events that celebrate strength, longevity, and fearless movement. Each race was a reminder that age is not a limitation — it’s a badge of experience and resilience.

Another unforgettable moment was the Every Woman’s Marathon in Scottsdale, Arizona. Being surrounded by so many determined, inspiring women was incredibly uplifting. The energy, encouragement, and shared purpose made every step meaningful and reaffirmed why I love this sport so deeply.

One of the most affirming moments of the year came in a quieter way — seeing my Adidas year-end recap, which captured the consistency, dedication, and accomplishments that often pass unnoticed in the day-to-day grind. It was a powerful reminder that showing up matters, and that all those early mornings and steady miles add up.

Like any meaningful journey, this year wasn’t without its challenges. Dealing with a locked-up right glute and hip tested my patience and resolve, but I’m grateful to say I’m feeling better, stronger, and back to running my daily 10K. Healing reminded me to listen to my body, honor rest when needed, and trust the process.

As I look ahead to 2026, I do so with excitement, optimism, and an open heart. I’m thankful for the ability to run, for the community that supports and inspires me, and for the opportunity to keep moving forward — one step, one mile, one year at a time.

Wishing all of you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. May it be filled with movement, courage, and joy

A Fantastic 261 Fearless Weekend

What a fantastic weekend it was!

It all began on Friday evening when we had the honor of welcoming Edith Zuschmann, CEO of 261 Fearless, Inc., to Los Angeles. We picked her up at LAX, and she spent the night in our home — truly a privilege and such a joy. We had a wonderful evening together, sharing stories, laughter, and inspiration.

Saturday morning brought even more excitement as we gathered for our 261 Fearless Club Los Angeles meetup in Pasadena. We had a wonderful turnout — nine members strong! We started with some energizing exercises, followed by a fun game led by Edith herself. Then we walked together to the Tournament of Roses House and took photos at their beautiful sign, introducing Edith to one of Pasadena’s most beloved landmarks. We also passed the Norton Simon Museum, where we paused for more pictures and admired the preparations already underway for the upcoming Rose Parade.

At one point, Edith asked us all to run just one block — a spontaneous burst of fearless fun! By the end of our meetup, we had covered more than three miles together.

Afterward, we treated ourselves to delicious coffee from a charming little drive-through hut before heading down to La Jolla for the 261 Fearless Train the Trainer program. The weekend in San Diego was filled with learning, energy, and connection — two full days of movement, growth, and empowerment alongside our new coaches.

By the time we returned home, I was both exhilarated and exhausted — grateful for the experience, the people, and the shared spirit of fearlessness that made this weekend one to remember.

Cool and cloudy — but nothing could take the smiles off our faces! 🌥️💜

Our 261 Fearless Club Los Angeles met yesterday for our Saturday meet run at 9 a.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 East Holly Street, Pasadena, CA 91103.

We walked through the beautiful streets of Pasadena, made it to the Rose Bowl Tournament House, and enjoyed the charm of the downtown mansions along the way.

Every week brings new energy, new smiles, and the same fearless spirit. Looking forward to seeing you all again next week! 💪✨
