California Daughters of the American Revolution gathered in Bakersfield, CA, September 10–13, 2025, for our annual Fall Council — and what an incredible time we had!
I was honored to serve the California State Regent and Registrar as a volunteer for their fantastic workshops. I always enjoy the business meetings and hearing the inspiring reports of the wonderful service our California Daughters give to their communities.
Two of my favorite traditions are the Cameo Tea and the Past & Present Regents Association Breakfast — moments to connect, celebrate, and share our love of service and history.
And yes — girls just want to have fun! 🎶 This year’s theme was the 1980s, and I was thrilled to win the Life at Total Vibe Award for Best Iconic 80s Look — earning the nickname “Boom Box Granny” from my DAR sisters. 💖
