On May 24, 1997, I earned my Master’s in Library and Information Science, setting me on a path I truly love. I am now retired, but for more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a library page, a library aide and a librarian with the County of Los Angeles Public Library.
But my love of books has never been just a career—it’s a way of life. Reading is an everyday occurrence for me, a joy that has carried me through the years and continues to grow stronger. From my first tracked reading year on Kindle in 2018 with 1 book, to nearing the 100-book mark in 2020, and continuing year after year, my shelves (and heart) have filled with stories.
Books are my lifelong companions, and I plan to keep reading as long as I can see the words on the page. I love it, love it, love it. 📚❤️
