First Long Run: Training for the Every Woman’s Marathon

Hi Dear Family, Friends and Neighbors!

The last Full Marathon I ran was before the covid lockdowns in 2019. Now, at the age of 74, I thought that my 26.2-mile Full Marathon days were behind me. That was, until I met the inspiring, loving women who ran last year’s inaugural Every Woman’s Marathon. My imagination was fired. Do I have another Full Marathon in me? I am going to try!

Today was my first long run. We will see what happens over the next 16 weeks!

261 Fearless Club Los Angeles had a great cool morning moving together and chatting it up! warmed up walking from the Pasadena Senior Center to Central Park, then made several loops around the park.

Welcome our new member, Jason! We are so happy to have you join us and are looking forward to many happy meetups together!

Kathrine Switzer at New York Times Square!

Hi Dear Family, Friends and Neighbors!

On June 12-15, 2025, I had the honor, privilege and thrill to attend the inaugural 261 Fearless Club Director’s Summit in Times Square, New York.

The adventure was a quantum leap in education, empowerment, bonding, and skill/confidence/self esteem/team-building. 

We enjoyed an unforgettable treadmill session at Peloton Times Square. The “dream”-themed music still echoes in my mind today as I run on my treadmill.

We were beyond thrilled to meet in person with Kathrine Switzer and hear her soul-reaching words, reminding us of the many opportunities we have everyday. As the Director of 261 Fearless Club Los Angeles I warmly invite you, your family and friends to embrace these opportunities with us.
